The event is played across 2 weeks, from January 31 to 11 February.

Given the importance of IEM Katowice, there is not a lot of time outside this for major CS2 events; but important qualifier stages continue to set us up for the rest of the year. PGL will be holding qualifiers for both Europe and Asia in February, with 17 slots for Europe and 2 for Asia. The European qualifiers will be played across February 14-24; whilst in Asia it will be 26-28.

Dota 2 Esports Tournaments February

BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai takes the headline event for February in the DOTA circuit. The first major event of the year will see 12 teams play-off in two groups of 6 in a swiss format, with the top 4 from each group progressing to compete for their share of $1,000,000. The circuit really starts strong for DOTA with this tournament, as it features the best teams from all regions, including TI champions Team Spirit, fan favourites OG, and many other prominent teams.

However, unlike CS2, February is a packed month for competitive Dota 2 esports tournaments, with two other major events kicking off!

Games of the Future also will be played in February, from 19-25. This event also has a prize pool of $1,000,000 and will have 16 teams; 14 were direct invites and two qualified through the Phygital Games series. In spite of having such a lofty prize pool, the teams are predomianntly Asian and South American, with a few tier 2 teams having qualified, and so does not boast the same calibre competition. Make no mistake, with such a prize on-the-line, it’s going to be a great show.

Finally, the DreamLeague circuit kicks off Season 22 on February 22, with 16 incredible teams from all regions. The first stage of this will be played from February 22 to March 10, and not only features another $1,000,000 prize pool, but also offers significant points towards the Esports World Cup, potentially even more important.
