When is the BLAST Premier World Final?
The World Final is the culmination of BLAST’s year long circuit, and will be scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi from December 13 to December 17.
What teams are participating?
8 teams have battled hard all year to earn their spot in the World Final and so we will certainly see the best-of-the-best represented in all of Counter-Strike.

What is the format of the BLAST Premier World Final?
With only 8 teams participating, expect an intense and action-packed event.
The teams will compete in two groups of 4, whereby they will play in a traditional GSL style format, with all matches being played in a best-of-three.
The group winners move straight to the semi-finals. The second place teams progress to the quarterfinals as high seeds, and the third place teams move to quarterfinals as low seeds. The last placed team in the group is eliminated.
The playoffs will be single elimination with best-of-three in the quarter and semi-finals; and then a full best-of-five for the grand finals.
Prize Pool for the World Final
The total prize pool for the event is $1,000,000 USD. The prize money is distributed to all 8 teams participating in the event. See the breakdown below.
