What is the format of the BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2023?

The finals are the culmination of the Fall split stage of the season. The finals will see two groups of 4 teams play a best-of-three against each other. The top qualifying teams proceed directly to the semifinals, whilst the second and third place teams go into further qualifying rounds, and the bottom place team are eliminated.

The winners take home $200,000 of the total prize pool, as well as qualifying directly to the World Finals, which will be held in Abu Dhabi 13-17 December. There, teams will play for $1,000,000 in the final major event of the year at the prestigious Ethiad Arena.

Who are the favourites?

Whilst the event sees the world’s top teams competing, we highlight who to watch out for!

FaZe Clan: FaZe continue to dominate global CS, and have gone from strength to strength in 2023. They have incredible momentum coming into the BLAST Premier Falls Final, off the back of wins at Thunderpick World Championship and IEM Sydney. Ropz has really helped drive FaZe on, and they will want their revenge after losing narrowly to Heroic last year.

Complexity: Complexity also boast good recent form, and the North American giants looked great at IEM Sydney, coming in close to FaZe.

While Heroic is a defending champion, there are not very high expectations on them due to cadiaN no longer being a part of the squad. That, on top of the fact that Jabbi and Stavn also being removed. Heroic has a big question mark over their head. It is also worth noting that the community is still expecting more from Team Vitality. They are definitely a team that are looking for a breakthrough performance in CS2.
