CS2 Tournaments - Information on Counter-Strike 2 Esports Tournaments

Counter-Strike 2 is a legacy esports game that has evolved over the last 20+ years. In September 2023 CS2 was released which replaced CS:GO for all users. This means that there will no longer be CS:GO tournaments and instead they will be played on the new CS2 version of the game. It is argued that the only thing blocking other premier teams are the costs of entry. Since there are several teams in League of Legends, Dota 2 and even Valorant that do not participate in CS2.
